Heritage Guitars UK was founded in 1985 by Robert Haines, a lifelong guitarist who believed that every musician deserved access to instruments of genuine quality — paired with honest, knowledgeable advice.
What began as a modest single-room shop on Cathedral Street has grown into one of the most respected independent guitar retailers in the West Midlands and Welsh Borders. Despite that growth, the values Robert instilled on day one have never changed.
Maintaining the same hands-on, personal approach that has earned the trust and loyalty of guitarists across Britain for four decades, every instrument we stock is played, assessed, and professionally set up before it reaches the shop floor.
