I’ve lived in St.Albans most my life, so was really pleased to photograph a wedding in the beautiful St.Albans Cathedral in the lady chapel.
After the ceremony I took a walk with this couple through The Lanes in Brighton and around the Royal Pavilion where we captured these wedding photographs.
The confetti photograph was taken using a confetti canon. A (small) person ducked down behind the wedding couple and set the confetti canon off above their heads. I didn’t notice it at first, but someone pointed out the confetti has made a heart shape around the couple. It must be love (and not Photoshop).
Here’s two shots taken at a wedding in St.Michaels Manor St.Albans, Hertfordshire. For the group shots I always recommend the couple write a list of the different groups they want photographed. With the help of the best man I then work through this list making sure we don’t miss anyone.
The sun shone beautifully during this wedding at Sopwell House in St.Albans. I took a short walk with the bride and groom after the ceremony, where we captured these photographs.
After the wedding ceremony at Hotel du Vin Henley on Thames I took a walk with the bride and groom, where I spotted this short jetty. With a bit of persuasion from the groom, they both walked out and posed for this photograph, which I’m really pleased with. Luckily they didn’t fall in, although if they had it’d definitely be You’ve Been framed moment.
Here’s two shots taken of a beautiful couple who had their wedding ceremony at Auberge du Lac, Brocket Hall, Welwyn.
I took these wedding photographs of a beautiful bride and groom at The Barrandov Opera Barn in Needham Market. Before the ceremony I usually have a good look around to find suitable locations to take photos of the couple.
It’s nice to see guests relaxed and enjoying themselves at a wedding and it always leads to great photographs. Here’s a shot of the bride and her friends at St.Michael’s Manor St.Albans. I’m pretty sure there were a few hangovers the next day…
The St.Albans Registry Office is great for wedding photography as it’s located in a beautiful old building, which actually used to be a prison.
I took these two wedding photos at The Fox Country Inn Hotel High Wycombe, which is a lovely little venue for a wedding. We headed to the forest just over the road after the ceremony to get these photos of the bride and groom.
Here’s a few photos from a wedding I photographed at Ponsbourne Park Hotel. I always like the moment when everyone comes up to photograph the happy couple, so decided to take the photo below to capture the moment.
There’s something I really like about this group photograph that was taken at a wedding in Gaynes Park Barns Epping Essex. Unless requested by the couple I try not to pose guest too much, preferring a more natural look.
